This Saturday, October 27, Edinburgh Labour MSP Kezia Dugdale is hosting an event to explore ways in which the proposed Living Wage (Scotland) Bill can extend the Living Wage to as many workers as possible.
6 out of 10 poor children in Scotland live in families that suffer from in-work poverty. While it is estimated 15,000 public sector workers have benefited from the Living Wage, over 25% of workers in the private sector are still earning less than the Living Wage.
Hosted by Kezia Dugdale MSP
with
Eddie Follan, from the Living Wage Campaign
John Park MSP, author of the proposed Living Wage (Scotland) Bill.
Places are limited, so please register your attendance here. Tea & coffee will be available from 9.30am; the event will start promptly at 10am and finish by 12pm.
